ABOUT Designer
Saeuntel Allen became interested in designing at the tender age of 13. Saeuntel received her degree in fashion merchandising and marketing from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles, California. Determined to be tops in her field, she studied pattern making at Seattle Community College. She then began her first in-home clothing design business now prestigiously known as, “Jag It Edge”. Since the inception of her business, Saeuntel has received many accolades for her unique designs and was nominated for “Business Woman of the Year” by a women’s civic organization in Seattle and worked as the Fashion Stylist for one of Seattle’s top fashion photographers, Jim Hadley.
In 1983, Saeuntel moved to New York to broaden her fashion expertise and worked at
Bloomingdales as an Executive Trainee. Later she was promoted to Assistant Buyer for Bloomingdale’s Men’s Sportswear Division.
She accepted a job offer from Nordstrom on the west coast in 1988 and relocated back to California, while continuing to design clothing for her clients and adding her collection of women’s contemporary shirts and her line of custom personalized handbags.
After 13 ½ years with Nordstrom, Saeuntel decided to accept a position with the Chamber of Commerce in Dixon, California where she resided with her husband, Bruce and son, Taylor for 8 years.
Saeuntel and her husband moved to Southern California in 2008 and she continues to pursue her passion as a Fashion Designer, crafting beautiful artistic one-of-a-kind handbags.
“Jag It Edge” thrives on and is Fashionably Sassy!
